Jobber. Scheduling and team tools, for a monthly fee.
QuickBooks. Invoices sit next to your accounts and taxes.
Wow Invoice. Free to download, built for trades, and your client pays from a link.
Your business name and contact, the client and job address, the date and invoice number, then each line: labour, timber or flooring (often by the square foot), and hardware like screws, hinges and trim. Add tax if you charge it, the total, and how to pay.
In Wow Invoice you turn it into an invoice with one tap when the client says yes. QuickBooks also says so on its own site.
Not with Wow Invoice. Your client gets a link that opens in any browser and can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay from it.
Wow Invoice and Square Invoices are free to download. Paid plans start at: Invoice Simple at $6.99 a month for 3 invoices, Invoice2go at $7.99 a month for 30 invoices a year, Joist at $12 a month for 5 documents, QuickBooks Simple Start at $38 a month and Jobber at $49 a month, as listed on their own sites in October 2026. Prices are US dollars, monthly billing unless noted.
Wow Invoice works in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian, with over 135 currencies. Joist is English only, and its payments are US and Canada only. Invoice Simple offers 23 languages. Invoice2go lists 6 languages.
We picked apps that one person or a small crew could use, plus one or two bigger tools where a trade has them. Full construction management systems are built for builders running many projects, so we left them out.
